1Our commitment
At MiEspacio, we are committed to ensuring that our platform is accessible to all people, regardless of their abilities or the technology they use to access the Internet.We believe that all users deserve an inclusive digital experience, and we continuously work to improve the accessibility of our Platform by removing barriers and following best practices in accessible web design.Our goal is to comply with international accessibility standards and with current Spanish and European legislation, including Royal Decree 1112/2018 on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications.
2Conformance status
MiEspacio strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).WCAG 2.1 defines requirements for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including:Perceivable: Information and user interface components must be presentable in ways users can perceive (alternative text, captions, sufficient contrast)Operable: User interface components and navigation must be operable (keyboard navigation, enough time, no seizure-inducing content)Understandable: Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable (readable text, predictable behavior, input assistance)Robust: Content must be robust enough to be interpreted by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologiesWe declare partial conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This means some parts of the content may not fully meet all conformance criteria.This statement addresses the obligations of Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), transposed in Spain by Law 11/2023 of 8 May, and relies on the harmonised standard EN 301 549. If you do not receive a satisfactory response through the accessibility contact channel, you may file a complaint with the competent authority.
3Technologies
The accessibility of MiEspacio relies on the following technologies to work correctly:HTML5: For semantic content structureCSS3: For visual presentation and responsive designJavaScript (Vue.js): For interactivity and dynamic functionalityWAI-ARIA: For improving accessibility of interactive componentsThese technologies are used alongside the accessibility features built into modern web browsers and the most common assistive technologies.We recommend using the latest versions of browsers to ensure the best accessibility experience.
4Known limitations
While we strive to ensure the accessibility of the entire Platform, we acknowledge that some limitations may exist:User-generated content: Reviews, comments, and images uploaded by users may not always include alternative text or meet contrast requirementsInteractive maps: Google Maps components may have accessibility limitations inherent to the external providerPDF documents: Some downloadable documents may not be fully optimized for screen readersMultimedia content: Some videos or animations may lack captions or audio descriptionsWe are actively working to identify and address these limitations.
